Check software version
To check the current software version, follow these steps:
- From any Home screen, touch the Status bar and slide down.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap About.
- Tap Category, and then select OS from the drop-down menu.
- View the 'OS Version' information.
Download update from BlackBerry
You can check for updates and request to download the update from the BlackBerry servers. To check for updates and download, follow these steps:

You can update your device software through BlackBerry Link on your computer. To manually update over a USB cable, follow these steps:

There aren’t really any big changes that have been discovered in 2205. I am thinking this might have just been a bug fix update.
